In most businesses, the problem is rarely a lack of ideas. Sometimes the difficulty lies in turning those ideas into clear decisions that allow the new project to move forward. Work slows down when discussions go on for too long, the project lacks planning, the team loses direction or there is too much happening at once.

Traffic Seven supports new projects and businesses across all areas of a new operation with 360º vision, but The Labs service was specifically created to tackle more specific, time-bound needs, rather than long term or ongoing projects.

Everything happens in a set block of time where the aim is to make real progress on one specific thing. That time can be 1 hour, 1 day, or 1 week, depending on what is needed, and with the possibility of adjusting the duration to the client´s needs, if different.

It might be shaping an idea, improving something that already exists, working through a problem, or getting something unstuck.

The Labs come in 3 initial formats:

The H-Lab is a 1-hour session for a single issue, just like a doctor or lawyer consultation. It is used when something needs quick thinking, a clear answer, or a simple improvement. Some examples:

  • Validation of campaign visuals when different options are presented

  • Questions about a contract that needs to be signed by the client

  • Specific problems with a client´s social media account (technical problems, security problems, etc.)

  • Revision of product development specs.

  • Question about human resources (issues with performance or team communication)

  • Quick brainstorming

The D-Lab is a 1-day session (up to 8 hours) for more intensive tasks. This is for situations where something needs proper time and attention, such as developing an idea, working through a plan, or solving a wider problem. Some examples:

  • Photography and styling sessions (on site)

  • Video editing

  • Design of specific materials for marketing use

  • Presentation revision, editing and improvement

  • Marketing Strategy reviews

  • Performance analysis

The W-Lab is a 1-week session (5 working days) for longer or more complex work. It gives space for ideas to be built out step by step and adjusted as needed along the way but need to be framed within a time-limit to meet deadlines and avoid delays. Examples:

  • Collection concept and editing

  • Design meetings

  • Product Development sessions involving different product lines

  • Budget planning

  • E-commerce platform improvements

The Labs are not about formal reporting or theoretical consulting work. We sit down (physically or remotely) with a problem and work through it until the desired outcome or decision is reached.
